Warsaw Voice NEWS Economy Government to subsidize low income housing Warsaw, PolandMarch 23, 2006 Poland plans to spend PLN 3.2 bln in order to subsidise construction of 315,000 apartments over six years, Deputy Construction and Transport Minister Piotr Styczen said in the Sejm Wednesday. "Budget net outlays of PLN 3.2 bln will allow constructing 315,000 subsidised flats for families of low and average income in six years," Styczen said. The government program focuses on partial covering of banking morgage loan interest.
