            Government to subsidize low income housing

            Poland plans to spend PLN 3.2 bln in order to subsidise construction 
            of 315,000 apartments over six years, Deputy Construction and 
            Transport Minister Piotr Styczen said in the Sejm Wednesday. 

            "Budget net outlays of PLN 3.2 bln will allow constructing 315,000 
            subsidised flats for families of low and average income in six 
            years," Styczen said.

            The government program focuses on partial covering of banking 
            morgage loan interest.

            According to the Minister, the program of subsidies for housing 
            credits will bear a price tag of PLN 7.5 bln by 2019.
