FAQ's about the Methods Application Process

Are students in the Honors Program subject to the same Academic requirements as those in the General Education program? No, the requirements for the students in Gen. Ed. are different than the requirements for students in the Honors Program. The courses you take as HON students are your pre-requisites. However, you are still subject to the same requirements to be formally admitted to the Professional Sequence, (i.e. minimum GPA, completion of English, Lit., and math requirements.
What if I don't have all my Formal Admissions Requirements complete when I am ready to apply for Methods? You must first be Formally Admitted to Teacher Education (EDF 026 or EDF 028) before you can apply for MUE 331. Waivers will only be granted under unusual circumstances (such as the change in PDE math and literature requirements in 2001-2002).
