Plans were set in motion to expel strikers from railroad housing.

125 cheminots from the SNCF arrived in AOF and were distributed as follows: 97 to the Chemin de Fer Dakar-Niger, 15 to the Chemin de Fer Conakry-Niger and 13 to the Chemin de Fer Bénin-Niger. All were skilled, and the group included 30 mechanics, 20 drivers, 5 carpenters, 15 lathe operators, 20 boilermakers, and 35 adjusteurs. Of the 97 who went to the Chemin de Fer Dakar-Niger, 25 were assigned to the section Toukoto-Bamako, 22 to Thiès and the rest distributed between Thiès, Guinguineo, Kaolack and Kayes.
