Railroad construction was finished, so the only new construction was buildings at Bamako and Koulikoro. There was an average of 484 workers: 137 "ouvriers d'art" (skilled workers) and 347 laborers.
Track maintainance employed an average of 454 African workers, repairs used 56 African workers, and the Section de Voie (track construction, brick making, chalk ovens, etc) used 721 African workers.
