This document was in such terrible condition in 1992 that it was practically unusable. I did not even try to read it, since it was not essential to my research.
NOTE: In Histoire des Bambara (Paris: Librairie Orientaliste Paul Geuthner, 1942), Louis Tauxier listed an article by Dr. Collomb in his bibliography entitled Contribution à l'étude de l'ethnologie et de l'anthropologie des races du Haut-Niger. Les races du Haut-Niger - moeurs de la race Bambara - les populations du Haut-Niger in Bulletin de la Société d'anthropologie de Lyon (1885-1886). Tauxire lsited it as one of the books most useful for the study of the history of the Bambara (sic) people.
