There are some very important topics discussed in the essays that support the use of computers in education. Some of these include the amount of computers used, how accessible they are to children without computers at home and how beneficial they can be for certain subject matters.
The student/computer ratio is getting a lot better today, allowing every child a computer in the lab. Accessibility to computers in being offered during the school day as well as after hours and during free time or recess. This way, if a child does not have a computer at home he or she can use them for projects, papers, and general use. There are many different subject areas that have special software to facilitate the lesson. Science, Math and English are just a few subjects that offer programs.
